DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Vladimir Petrov (logunov ihep)\, Roman Riutin (IHEP)
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLogunov Institute for High Energy Physics (Protvino\, M
oscow region\, Russia) of National Research Centre "Kurchatov Institute"
is organizing the XXXVIII International Workshop on High Energy Physics an
d Field Theory “Current issues in gravitation and cosmology"\, November
24-26\, 2026.\nThe purpose of this Workshop is to highlight and review the
most pressing problems in gravitation and cosmology\, dark matter and dar
k energy\, gravitational waves. Presentation and discussion of issues in g
eneral quantum field theory and relevant historical\, philosophical and me
thodological aspects are envisaged. Hopefully\, this will allow to get fre
sh information on progress in these fields and to provide an active discus
sion both of results and problems.\n \nTo this end the workshop will cons
ist of  invited talks only\nand a 1-hour discussion session after each wo
rking day with a summary from the discussion leader will be arranged.\n\n
Dear Colleagues\,\nWe kindly ask you to submit the abstract of your talk
(at least in a condensed form) via this web-page (or via e-mail\, in ca
se of problems). \nThis would help us to arrange the program and the corre
sponding discussions in advance.\n\nTopics to be discussed\n●      Ge
neral relativity\, generalizations and alternatives\n●      Black hol
es. Gravitational waves\n●      Higher spins and gravitation\n\nWis
hes to speakers\n\nAs one can see from the program\, our Workshop concerns
various fields sometimes very different from each other\, both conceptual
ly and in technical terminology. \nThat is why we would like to avoid exce
ssive diversification and to try to preserve to a certain extent the unity
of the high energy physics community.\nIn this regard\, we would like to
 ask all speakers\, if possible\, to kindly avoid\, if possible\, details t
hat are understandable only to a narrow circle of deeply involved experts
and to make the presentation simpler and clearer (thus more interesting
!)  to a wider circle of participants.\nWe also believe that it would be
of great importance to give\, at least in a concise way\, the conceptual m
otivation of your subject.\n\n   We are aware that this task can be rath
er difficult\, so in no way the above wishes are mandatory and  every spe
aker is\, certainly\, free to deliver her/his talk according to  her/his
own desire and convenience.\n\nWishes to discussion leaders\n\nIt is assum
ed that each session will end with a general discussion (near one hour).\n
The discussion is led by the discussion leader. \nThe first part is assume
d to be devoted to additional questions which bear a conceptual character\
, which are collected by technical coordinators and then sent to the disc
ussion leader. It is meant that during the talk time only technical short
questions not bearing a conceptual character are admitted.  This is regu
lated by the chairperson.\nIn the second part the discussion leader is ask
ed to give a brief summary of the session's reports and a brief descriptio
n of the most important unresolved problems related to the topic of the se
ssion.\nThe allocation of time for discussion and summary is  left to the
discretion of the discussion leader.\nAdditional wishes to discussion lea
ders:The hour of discussion is divided into three parts.1. Conceptual ques
tions to speakers of the session(s) from theaudience.2. A short summary fr
om the discussion leader for each of the talks ofthe session(s).3. General
summary of the state of affairs and prospects.Topic(topics) - at the choi
ce of the discussion leader\, but relevant to at least one talk of the ses
sion(s).The distribution of time among the above parts is at the choice of
the presenter.\n\n\nStructure of the workshop\n\nParticipation will be av
ailable both in person and online.\nSpeakers by invitation only.\nTwo sess
ions with 4-5 invited talks of 35 minutes duration and 5 minutes forquesti
ons (additional time is possible by request) and debates of a current char
acter after each talk will be arranged every day.\nIn the evening one hour
will be devoted to moderated open discussion of relevant general problems
.\nPoster sessions are possible for young participants (graduates and post
graduates) as everyday last 40-min sessions.\nOnly registered participant
s can follow the sessions and take part in the discussions. \nThe first st
ep is to register in the indico system  https://indico.ihep.su/register/\
nNext\, the system will send a link to confirm the email.\nAfter that\, yo
u can log in to the indico system with the login you received and registe
r for the conference.\n\nProceedings of the workshop will be published in
Physics of Elementary Particles and Atomic Nuclei of the Joint Institute f
or Nuclear Research (JINR\, Dubna) \n\nThe session summaries are envisage
d to be placed jointly in the arXiv (hep-ph).\n\nIMPORTANT DATES\n\nNovemb
 er 1\, 2026 - end of abstract submission\nNovember 23\, 2026 - end of regi
 stration of speakers\nNovember 24\, 2026 - start of the Workshop\n\n\nPart
icipation\nParticipation with review talks is by invitation of the Organiz
ing Committee.\nIn the case of a proactive request the decision is made by
  the Organizing Committee.
\nThe sessions will be online by appropriate software a
nd also in person.\nThere is no registration fee.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://i
